The defendant, 24, who a jury heard has consistently claimed she was the missing Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are facing charges indicted with harassing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February this year.

On Monday, Leicester Crown Court heard call records and information recovered from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test during the past two years.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

A separate voicemail, shared in court, captured Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm heavy and unattractive like Madeleine used to be, but I believe what I know."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording said: "Suppose there is a tiny probability that I am she? Then what? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a existence here in Poland, I simply desire to know," the recording stated.

The tribunal was told that through emails, text messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a effort to show a likeness to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and asserted to have "memories" from a childhood with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, a data specialist with the police force who gathered the information, told the court there "didn't appear to be any answers" from Mrs McCann.
