Comedian and author David Walliams dropped by longtime publisher.
Prolific writer for children and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the firm stated: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the move was made after an inquiry regarding reports of questionable actions towards women.
The company declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."

He has published over four dozen titles combined, including a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
